Clothed, not naked

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 2 Corinthians 5.1-3

The body is the earthly house, this tent is provisional.
The body you have, no matter how strong or beautiful it is, will end one day. When this happens, and it will happen sooner or later, where will your soul live for all of eternity?

In the lake of fire and brimstone with the devil, the beast, the false prophet, death and hell? No! I don’t think this is what you want.

We have a building from God, a house not made with hands, but eternal, which will be the heavenly habitation for our soul.

However, because everything in life has a condition, the condition to leave this earthly home and live in the heavenly habitation is to not be naked, but clothed.

Only dressed with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6.10), the Holy Spirit, will we have the conditions to remain firm against all the tricks of the devil, and to resist the bad day, and, after overcoming everything, remain unwavering.

It is on the bad day that we groan, endure, suffer afflictions on behalf of our faith. But once dressed, everything passes, everything ends, everything finishes.

But, those who are spiritually naked will fall for the first trap of the devil and not endure the bad day.

Conclusion:
If you want your soul to live in the heavenly habitation, when this earthly house is destroyed, then you cannot be naked, but dressed in Armor of God, which will give you the condition to persist and prevail forever.

Hindering the work of God

Take your time to read, meditate and follow what the Holy Spirit says.

God did not choose us in vain. He separated each one of us with the purpose of advancing His Work. All His servants have a mission to grow the Work of God every day, as quickly and effectively as possible.

But problems arise when the Almighty’s own children hinder the development of His Work. Unfortunately, we do this often without even realizing it.

You hinder the Work of God when:

– You do not invest in your talents. God has given you talents for you to use them in favor of His Work. To have a talent and not use it is the same as having legs and not walking. You get around by crawling when you could be running to cooperate with the purposes of God. When you stop investing in your talents, you stop investing in His Work.

– You do not do what God asked you to do. Many times, this happens because you don’t feel capable of accomplishing the mission. But God would never ask you for something you could not do. If the Holy Spirit moved you to take action or make a certain decision, go ahead, without fear. You do not need to have conditions – nobody does – you just need to depend on God.

– You are overcome by your shyness and inhibitions. The great heroes of faith had to overcome both of these things to move the Work of God forward. And everyone who wants to cooperate with this Work should demonstrate the same boldness. It’s a matter of decision: either you face your weaknesses or continue to live with them, either you become a catalyst for the Work of God or you become a hurdle.

– You wait for God to do what only you can do. God works in partnership with us. There are things that only God, who is spirit, can do, and there are also things that only we, who live in a physical body, can do. The Work moves forward when both partners fulfill their roles. If something remains stagnant, then, most likely, you are not doing your part – because God never fails to do His.

– You do the right thing for the wrong reason. Why do you want to achieve a certain blessing? For your own benefit or for the benefit of the Work of God? Your right, which is to seek the fulfillment of the Promises of God, becomes a wrong when this is done with your personal interest in mind. When God blesses us, He has the growth of His Work in mind. We must have the same vision.

– You care more about your needs than the needs of the Work of God. When you do this, you are putting yourself above God, and considering what is worldly more important than what is eternal. When we fulfill the needs of the Work of God, He will fulfill our needs. But when we are only focused on fulfilling our needs, what happens to the needs of the Work of God

When you have the Holy Spirit, not only are you part of the Work of God, but you are the Work of God. Your advances are the advances of the Kingdom of God, but your setbacks are also setbacks to the Kingdom of God.

Do not accept to hinder the Work of the Almighty

God's anointing
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
 (Luke 4: 19-21)


The Holy Spirit came to give continuation to the work of the Lord Jesus through his servants.

The reason the Lord Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit is because we have the power to do what the Lord Jesus did and even greater. The moment that he comes upon us, we receive anointing and authority to:

1.Preach the Gospel: For all those who are far from God, for whoever has not received His grace, as rich as he may be, is still poor before God, Gospel means “Good news” and it is the responsibility of those who will receive the Holy Spirit to those who suffer.

2. To proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight   to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed: Those who are captives and oppressed by sicknesses, by suffering, by addictions, by sins. We have the anointing to determine that they be delivered, authority to speak straight to the sickness and determine that it leaves the persons life, to order the spirit that causes suffering in that persons life to leave her life once and for all.

3.To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord: The acceptable year of the Lord is not a period of 12 months; it is the era that we are living, that whoever, no matter what he has done, when he seeks God and surrenders his life to Him, will be accepted. Those who have received the Holy Spirit when he proclaims, he talks about Gods mercy, the person is blessed, because God Himself is talking through him, and the person who is listening understands that he is accepted, and all his past is erased.

This is what is determined for those who receive the Holy Spirit, those who are sensitive to those who are suffering and in pain; they exercise their spiritual authority to fulfill this determination.

But many servants of God are worried about their own life, than the life of those who are suffering, they became indifferent to the suffering of those around them, they looked at their uniform as a burden and not an armor, they don’t hear the voice of God when He tells them to wake up in the middle of the night to pray for the church, for his family and those who suffer.

We should analyze that even though this world is controlled by science, it is not capable of holding the glory of God, because He truly is infinite, and even though He still chooses us, as small as we are to make us His home.

And what have you done with this great power that lives in you?

The awakening of faith

Every living being, no matter how strong or smart they may be, is unable to take action while they are asleep. Likewise, no machine, regardless of how powerful it may be, can operate when it is turned off. When people and machines are in a state of rest, this means their functions cannot be performed at the moment, no matter how natural or simple they may be. Numbness or the lack of energy leaves them fragile, vulnerable, inoperable and useless.

This same is true when faith is dormant. It does not serve any purpose or make a difference whether it exists or not. What good is having power if it’s not used? Or have something that does not function properly? What good is having, if nothing is being done with what you have?

To encourage us to use our faith – knowing that, when we use it, we will achieve everything we want and need – God left what is needed to awaken it in His Word. He left His guidance in the form of commandments, advice, exhortations and promises; tools, such as prayer, fasts, tithes, offerings and vows; and examples, the acts of the heroes of faith and their results. This can cause our faith to be shaken, because it urges and encourages us to do something about what was proposed and taught.

Faith must be awakened so that you can do what you were designed to do, just as living beings need to be awake to use their full potential, and machines must be turned on to operate. It is not with words or with being aware of what needs to be done that we put faith to work, but with action. If you do not take action, your faith remains dormant, and is useless, because it won’t bring you any results. The main characteristic of being dormant is passiveness, and the main sign that something is awake is action.

Perhaps you have been complaining to God about not giving you this or that, when all along, He has given you all the conditions to achieve what you want – and these conditions are in your faith. The problem is not what God has not given you, it’s what you have stopped doing with what He has already given you. What have you done with your faith? Faith is a gift from God to each one of us, but we choose whether we will make good use of this gift or if we’re going to let it sit gathering dust.

As long as your faith is dormant, your victory will be in a deep sleep. But the awakening of faith is the awakening of the life you want to live.

Empacando a Obra de Deus

O desperate da fé

Todo ser vivo, por mais forte ou inteligente que seja, fica incapaz de tomar qualquer atitude quando está dormindo. Da mesma maneira, qualquer máquina, por mais potente que seja, não pode realizar nenhuma operação se estiver desligada. Quando seres vivos e máquinas estão em estado de repouso, significa que suas funções não podem ser exercidas naquele momento, por mais naturais ou simples que possam ser. A dormência ou a falta de energia os deixa frágeis, vulneráveis, inoperantes e inúteis.

Assim também é a fé, quando está adormecida. Para nada serve, e não faz diferença alguma existir ou não existir. Que proveito tem uma força que não é usada? Ou algo que não exerce a função que deveria exercer? Do que adianta ter, se nada é feito com o que se tem?

Para nos estimular a exercitar a fé – sabendo que, ao exercitá-la, alcançaremos tudo aquilo que queremos e precisamos – Deus deixou em Sua Palavra o que é necessário para despertá-la. Ele deixou Sua direção, em forma de mandamentos, conselhos, exortações e promessas; as ferramentas, como orações, jejuns, dízimos, ofertas e votos; e os exemplos, os feitos dos heróis da fé e seus respectivos frutos. Tudo isso é capaz de chacoalhar a nossa fé, pois cobra de nós uma prática e nos instiga a fazer algo a respeito do que foi proposto e ensinado.

A fé deve ser despertada para que possa realizar aquilo que foi criada para realizar, assim como seres vivos precisam estar acordados para exercer seu potencial, e como máquinas precisam estar ligadas para realizar operações. Não é com palavras ou com a consciência do que se deve fazer que colocamos a fé para funcionar, mas é com atitudes. Se você não toma atitudes, sua fé está adormecida, e para nada serve, pois nada irá lhe trazer. A maior característica da dormência é a passividade, e o maior sinal de que algo está desperto é a ação. 

Quem sabe você tem reclamado com Deus por Ele não ter lhe dado isso ou aquilo, enquanto, na verdade, Ele já lhe deu todas as condições para conquistar o que você quer – e essas condições estão em sua fé. A questão não é o que Deus deixou de lhe dar, a questão é o que você tem deixado de fazer com aquilo que Ele já te deu. O que você tem feito com sua fé? A fé é um presente de Deus para cada um de nós, mas somos nós que escolhemos se faremos bom uso desse presente ou se deixaremos encostado juntando poeira. 

Enquanto sua fé estiver adormecida, sua vitória também estará em sono profundo. Mas o despertar da fé é o despertar da vida que você deseja viver

Through one person

Through one person, Adolf Hitler, about 70 million people were decimated during the 2nd World War.

If the power and authority of one person that had an alliance with evil brought countless tragic consequences, the power and authority of a person that has a covenant with God can bring countless blessed consequences.

Through one person, Noah, God began populating the planet.

Through one person, Abraham, God separated a nation on Earth so the Messiah would be born from them.

Through one person, Moses, God delivered millions of people out of slavery.

Through one person, Joseph, all the nations were fed during a time of drought.

And the examples continue – both for good and for evil.

For great things to happen, for historical facts to be realized, for an instance to become a turning point and a true defining moment, changing the future of thousands, millions and billions of people, the actions of ONE man were enough. We can clearly see the power every human being has within themselves to transform situations and the world around them. This power does not depend on favorable circumstances, age, religion, place or time. This power depends exclusively on the faith you have in it.

We clearly saw the horrific consequences this power had when it became allied with evil, so imagine the wonderful consequences it can have when it’s allied with good, which is God? The things God wants to do through you are even greater – for good – than the devil did through Hitler – for evil. If Hitler was able to decimate 70 million people, imagine how many people God wants you to save? If Hitler was able to destroy millions of families, imagine how many families God wants you to help rebuild? If Hitler was able to make the whole world grieve, imagine how much God wants you to be responsible for a feast in heaven?

Through one person. And this person can be you. It only depends on your faith.

We cannot accept to be used by God to do small things, while the devil uses people to do great things

Only By Faith

Then Jesus said to him: Go your way; your faith has made you well… Mark 10.52

This was what Jesus said to all those who achieved the miracle they were seeking.

We can see that it was not Jesus who healed them; the faith they manifested was actually responsible for their healing. If Jesus were responsible for healing and salvation, everyone, without exception, would be healed and saved. But, since it is faith that heals and saves, only those who manifested their faith were healed and saved. So why did some receive and others didn’t? Because some manifested their faith, and others didn’t. The same happens today – this is how it worked in the past, and continues to work now.

The Lord Jesus wanted to make it clear that to receive what we want, it depends exclusively on the faith we manifest. The fact that you are a good person or that God exists is not enough for you to receive a miracle. We know that, when we do what is good, we will reap good fruit, and it is God who gives the blessing, but only by faith can we conquer what we need. Faith is the price to be paid to achieve what we desire from God.

Why do some conquer more, others less and some nothing at all, when they are all seeking the same God? The difference is not in the God they’re seeking, but the faith they manifest. Those who conquer more, manifest more faith, those who conquer less, manifest less faith, and those who don’t conquer anything, don’t manifest any faith at all. What differs one faith from another is not its size, but how it is implemented, how it is manifested.

Your blessing does not depend on God or somebody else. If it depended on God, He would already have given it to you from the beginning. And if it were up to somebody else, you would most likely never receive anything. But your blessing depends on you, it depends on the faith you manifest.

Faith, as well as salvation, is individual and nontransferable – not even God can do your part. Therefore, there’s no use relying on the mercy of God and waiting for something to fall out of the sky, or depend on someone else’s faith. Go by your own faith, to reap what you are willing to plant and to achieve what you believe you can achieve.

Now, go, because YOUR faith will save you.

Então, Jesus lhe disse: Vai, a tua fé te salvou… Marcos 10.52

Essa era a resposta de Jesus para todos aqueles que alcançavam o milagre que tanto buscavam.

Podemos perceber que não era Jesus Quem os curava, mas a fé que eles manifestaram era a verdadeira responsável pela cura. Se fosse Jesus o Responsável pela cura e salvação, todos, sem exceção, seriam curados e salvos. Mas, como é a fé que cura e salva, só os que manifestaram a fé foram curados e salvos. E por que uns receberam e outros não? Porque estes manifestaram a fé, e os outros não. O mesmo acontece nos dias de hoje – é assim que funcionou, e é assim que continua funcionando.

O Senhor Jesus quis deixar bem claro que para recebermos aquilo que queremos, depende exclusivamente da fé que manifestamos. O fato de você ser uma boa pessoa ou de Deus existir não é suficiente para que você alcance os milagres. Sabemos que, se fizermos o bem, colheremos os frutos, e que é Deus Quem concede as bênçãos, mas somente pela fé conquistaremos aquilo que precisamos. A fé é a moeda de troca, o preço a ser pago para tomar posse daquilo que desejamos de Deus.

Por que uns conquistam mais, outros menos, e outros nada se o Deus que buscam é O mesmo? A diferença não está no Deus que buscam, mas na fé que manifestam. Os que conquistam mais, manifestam mais a fé, os que conquistam menos, manifestam menos a fé, e os que nada conquistam, não manifestam a fé. O que difere uma fé da outra não é o tamanho, mas o quanto ela é exercitada, o quanto ela é manifestada.

Sua bênção não depende de Deus nem de terceiros. Se dependesse de Deus, Ele já teria concedido desde o princípio. E, se dependesse de terceiros, você provavelmente nada alcançaria. Mas a sua bênção depende de você, depende da fé que você manifesta. 

A fé, assim como a salvação, é individual e intransferível – nem mesmo Deus pode fazer a sua parte. Por isso, não adianta se apoiar na misericórdia de Deus esperando algo cair do céu, tampouco ir na fé de terceiros. Vá na sua fé, para colher aquilo que você tem disposição para plantar e para alcançar aquilo que você crê que pode alcançar.
Agora, vai, porque a SUA fé irá te salvar

Depend on who?

This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the Lord of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there. And whenever the time came for Elkanah to make an offering, he would give portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and daughters. But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the Lord had closed her womb. 1 Samuel 1.3-5

Can a person be before God for a long period of time and remain sterile, not having a before and after to tell? Of course they can!

Notice that Ana went up every year to present a holocaust, which was double the portion her “adversary” Penina offered.

However, she would return angry, crying, and not eating. Do you know why?

First: She did not know how to identify her true adversary, who was not Penina, but her infertility, which was mainly why Elkanah had another wife.

Second: Hannah insisted on using her emotions, and God never changed someone’s life by the size of their pain, because pain has a size and dimension for man but not for Him, Who heals and delivers from any situation with the same ability. What makes a difference is the size of a person’s revolt.

Third: Her holocaust was twice as much as Penina’s, but it was given to her by her husband and not formed by her own faith; this is, she spent a long time hidden behind Elkanah’s faith, when she was the one that was sterile and, therefore, Hannah should have been the one to form her own sacrifice.

Friend, you can share a pain, but you can not share a responsibility, and you are responsible for changing the situation you are in, like what happened with Hannah, who only turned the tables when she decided to be independent and act with her own Faith.

So Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the Lord. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. Then she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”

And it happened, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli watched her mouth. Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk. So Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you!” But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.”

Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.” And she said, “Let your maidservant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad. 1 Samuel 1.9-18

The same woman that could not have one child, had six. It only depends on your faith, so stop being sterile!

Talents

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. 15 And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.” (Matthew 25:14-15)

The man did not divide the talents according to the importance of each servant, the one who received five was not more important then the servant that received two, nor was the one who received two more important then the one that received only one. He divided the talents according to each ones capacity. But all were important before the man. God also acts in the same way! May it be a Bishop, Pastor, Assistant or soul winner… all have the same importance before the Lord.

“ Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. 17 And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. 18 But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.” (Matthew 25:16-18)

The servants that received five and two talents left immediately to multiply the talents that were given to them. When God gives us an order, we should follow it immediately and not leave it for later.

The servant that received one talent despised what was given to him. He didn’t please his Master! He thought that it wasn’t worth sacrificing for something that wasn’t his. We should not despise what God has given us. We don’t work for man, everything that was trusted in our hands was given by God Himself. One day we will stand before Him to give account of these talents.

After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours. But his lord answered and said to him, You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 25: 19-30)

Imagine the Lord Jesus asking each one of his servants what they did with the talents they received. In terms of responsibilities, some received more others received less, but in spiritual terms, God gave to all the same condition. ( The word, The Holy Spirit and the Name of the Lord Jesus) Since everyone has the same conditions, everyone will be charged equally.

The “good and faithful” servants will be approved. Being a Good servant is in relations to what we do for God, and being faithful is what we are to Him, our character! The are gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. The gifts are tools that the Holy Spirit gives to His servants to be able to serve Him. The fruits come as a result of our communion wi

th God. They show the level of intimacy we have with the Most High and it reflects whom we are. The gifts are related to what we do and the fruits to who we are.

Everything we do for God increases our reward. From the harder things like saving a soul from hell, to the simpler things like praying for someone or picking up paper from the floor. Our reward is being adjusted and will be given to us when we go before Him.

The lazy and wicked servant is wicked because his intentions and character is wicked. He is last because he is irresponsible with what was trusted in his hands by the Lord Jesus. This servant does the work of God just to do it. They feel obligated to do it, they don’t do it out of love for the Lord. They start looking at man and forget that it was God who gave them that talent. 

This servant will not have an eternal reward, and he will go to a place of weeping and gnashing teeth.
