Either you are or you are not

Dear assistants,
If you truly believe that God has chosen you and has anointed you with His Spirit, then you have no reason to just be complaining about your problems or situation. If you know that God is with you, therefore, you are more than able to overcome any type of obstacles and enemies that have risen against you.
Stop wasting your time by looking for someone to give you a hand because what you have received from God is more than enough to guarantee your victories. Everything you need to do is to go ahead and put your faith into action, exactly like Elijah did against 450 prophets of Baal. Elijah knew the God who was with him and the Spirit that was dwelling inside him as well. That's why he feared nothing and no one. He did what he had to do, but unfortunately we have seen many who call themselves God's servants, assistants, etc, fearing the problems and running away from the fire of the Altar. Elijah went to the Altar (Mount Carmel) and challenged all his enemies there. Do you know what happened? Fire came down from heaven.
Stop wavering between doubt and faith, either you are of God or you are not. If you are, then you should start to prepare your testimony to exalt our God.
"I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague those who hate him. But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted. Also I will set his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the rivers." Psalms 89:20-25

The Servant's Example

The servant’s example

But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.’ Matthew 25.26

I was meditating on this verse and thinking: Why didn’t this servant multiply his talent? Why were the others able to, but he wasn’t? That’s when I realized what Jesus said: “Wicked servant”. No, he was not only negligent; he was also WICKED.

How could he save others if he was lost? Many have had a BAD character, have been BAD husbands, BAD wives, BAD children, BAD employees, BAD bosses, BAD students and have had BAD manners. And how can such people convince others that Jesus is good?

I believe that therein lies one of the great failures of many Christians, their BAD example has prevented people from wanting to seek God, even their own family members.

If we want to save, we have to show why it is worth it to follow Jesus; we have to show how good it is, we have to exhale the GOOD fragrance of Christ.
That's where our personal testimony comes in, because people around us know who we used to be before Christ and who we are after finding Him, and that’s what makes us multiply our talents.

We have to be a GOOD example to all, for our example speaks more than our words. Who does not like what is good? Everyone wants to have a GOOD husband, a GOOD father, GOOD employees, a GOOD wife, GOOD children. Everybody loves and wants what is GOOD.

The first two servants were called GOOD. They had a GOOD testimony both to outsiders and to Jesus Himself.
Therefore, the question remains: How does God and those around us see us, as GOOD or BAD servants?

How to Serve God

 Serving God wholeheartedly

A life dedicated to the Lord Jesus does not mean a life of ease. There are challenges, tests, trials and battles that must be not only faced, but also overcome.

Serving God wholeheartedly means to surrender your life completely. To serve Him means to sacrifice your passions, your desires and the love for the fleeting things of this world. To dedicate yourself entirely to God means to have a life of constant battles, disappointments, misunderstandings and tears for those you don’t even know. If the common man goes through tough times, imagine those who serve God with all their hearts! These will face battles and live ina state of constant war with Satan and his entire kingdom.

The best example of this was the Lord Jesus Himself who, despite being the Son of God, was tempted many times, but overcame all situations because He would continually pray to the Father:

"Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him…” (Hebrews 5.7)

And if the Son of God had to live in constant consecration, imagine those people who serve Him! They should live every moment seeking the Lord's help in order to overcome their times of struggle.

Those who are willing to serve Him wholeheartedly cannever prioritize themselves or their own future, but Christ, as He said:

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)

It's like a soldier who goes to war. Being there in the frontlines, he has the obligation to be vigilant at all times, otherwise his life and the life of his comrades will be at risk. There is no vacation, day off or break, as the enemy does not have it either and is ready to attack at any moment.

In times of war, a country counts on their soldiers and expects them to fight with all their strength so victory can be achieved. The same happens with the Christian life. He who gave His life for the sinner, who suffered so that he could have eternal life, who saved him and called him, now needs him to reach out to other people who are still living according to the passions of the world.

Living a Christian life wholeheartedly is to place yourself in the presence of God so that His will may be done in this world.

Therefore, it is not enough to just go to church or even tobe a Christian in words or attitudes. Constant dedication is necessary, as it is written in His Word:

"Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

Be Holy

Royal, Holy and Special
      Dear assistant,
I would like to call your attention to something that I consider one of the most important things that God requires from each one of us. That is the way we behave. I know, you know and all of us know very well that as children of God and His servants, wherever we go people are looking at us in a different way. For most of them we are perfect, though we are not, but they always expect to see perfection in most of the things that we do or we say. We should not need anybody to expect the best of us for us the do our best. This is something that has to be practiced by those who are born of God and baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Unfortunately, there are many who claim themselves as children of God, but don't care about it, and they put the name of Jesus into shame. But this is not your case, I hope!

Let's see how God has considered us, how much He cares for us and the great difference we all can make at home, at work, inside and outside the church: "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1Peter 2:9&10
Now, let's know the real meaning of three important words in these verses.
Royal - of or relating to a king or queen
Holy - separated for God only. Having a divine quality
Special - different from what is normal or usual

Did you understand? Good. This is how God has considered us. However, if you don't valorize it by watching the way you behave before others, especially before unbelievers, then you are showing to everyone that you have absolutely nothing to do with God. Don't think that the uniform you wear or title you have will be able to hide the fruit you bear.
God has honored us with the best that He has, and He wants us to honor Him in the same way. In other words, with the best we can, not only through the offering that we place on the altar, but with the way we behave before others.

Intimacy with God

"And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.' Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed.' Immediately the leprosy left him. And He charged him to tell no one, 'But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.'However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed." Luke 5:12-16

Dear assistants,
I want to call your attention to the underlined verse, for you to have a clear understand of the importance of keeping a straight intimacy with God. Even though The Lord Jesus was the Son of God, He knew very well that for Him to do what He did, He had to be close to God the Father through his prayers.

One of the reason why we have seen many assistants falling down and losing their salvation is not because God has left them alone, but because of their lack of communion with the Holy Spirit. Many of them haven't sought for the presence of God as they used to do in the beginning, because they are too busy, tired and so on. Little by little the fire of God inside them started to die down. They couldn't notice that it was becoming dim until the point they fell down.

I want you to stop for a moment right now to meditate about the type of relationship that you have been keeping with God. Are you really having moments of intimacy with the Holy Spirit? Have you been separating yourself to seek for His presence? When was the last time you read the Bible?
You don't have to answer these questions for me, but I would like you to answer them for yourself and for God.
We all have to keep a straight communion with The Lord for the sake of our salvation.

Practicing Justice

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”    Micah 6.8

Three kinds of behavior the Lord asks of his children:

1. To do justly: God is justice. What He asks here is not a theoretical kind of justice but the practice of it. It is to day by day, learn to practice true righteousness with Him, which is possible through rational faith.

2. To love mercy: To love mercy is not to just want it for yourself but to be merciful to others as well. To look with good eyes and always see from a positive or at least neutral point of view (this practice prevents us from committing injustice and takes us closer to item number 1).

3. To walk humbly with your God: The proud will never be able to walk with God, because pride is the characteristic of the devil and was one of the reasons for his downfall. The humble is able to deny himself to follow Jesus. He sacrifices whatever is necessary to please the Lord. The humble person knows that he does not deserve anything and his greatest joy is to be a tool in God’s hands. Now, how can a person be a tool if he is proud? It makes no sense.

Note that these three kinds of behavior are not theoretical or occasional. They must be followed and practiced daily until they become part of the character of those practicing it. Once there is effort to keep practicing these key points, it will be easier to practice everything else in the Word of God as well, even the things that are seemingly hard.

  Doing the best we can
"But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper." Genesis 39.21-23

   Dear all,
For God to do His part which is to bless us by fulfilling what He has promised, first we have to do our part, which is to do the best of everything that comes into our hands. Joseph for example, had to do his best and because of that God prospered the work of his hands. Everyone saw God in his life and that God was with him.
Many Christians think that God will be revealed in this world through His word only. He needs more than that, He will be shown through what His people do. This happened to Joseph in Egypt when he was in prison. He never lost heart, nor complained because of his situation. Even when he was behind bars he knew that God was with him and whatever was given to him to do he did his best. Unfortunately, there are servants who only do their best when everything is ok, but if they face problems or the wind is blowing against them, then they change. They don’t apply all their strength on what they are doing. How can God be revealed through them like this?
No matter the situation you may be going through right now, God is with you.  He wants to be glorified in your life. Don’t give up on what you are doing for Him. Remain faithful until the end, exactly as Joseph did and God will honor you. He will put you on top.
Don’t forget, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" Hebrews 13.8
Is there any doubt that He wants to do in your life the same thing He did in Joseph’s life? I believe not!
Whatever comes into your hands to do, do your best and let everyone see God in you.

Curse and blessing

“Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of theLord your God which I command you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known."  Deuteronomy 11. 26-28

Dear assistants,
See how wonderful our God is, because He gave us the power to choose and decide what to do and where to go. This power is inside each one of us and we use it according to our faith. We all know that we have to take full responsibility of any decision that we make. Whether it is good or bad consequences. It’s our responsibility and we are not supposed to transfer it to anybody, however, there are many people making wrong choices and wrong decisions by their own and they always look for someone else to blame.

Amazingly, before they do what they want to do they don’t talk with anybody; some of them even hide what they are doing, but when things go wrong, then they don’t take responsibility of their mistake. It’s much easier to blame others or even God Himself.

God gave us the Holy Spirit and with Him, He gave us wisdom, intelligence and the ability to think before we make any choice or decision in life. Therefore if right now you are about to make any decision I would suggest to you to think very well and ask God to give direction in order for you to do what’s right with no regrets. Remember, God gives the options, but the decision is yours, not His. Think about it.

Don't corrupt yourself

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. And God said to Noah, 'The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.'" Genesis 6:11-13

Dear assistants,

I truly believe that you all know very well how long you've been working to build up your salvation. As a matter of fact, salvation is the most important thing our life and it has to be conquered every single day because the day in which we don't conquer it we will lose it. Unfortunately this has happened to many Christians, including those who are serving God as pastors, assistants, bishops, deacons, etc...

I'm writing this message to you, just to help you to keep your eyes wide open with those who many times have approached you with sweet and very convincing words, exactly as satan did to Eve, "And the woman said to the serpent, 'We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’' Then the serpent said to the woman, 'You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.' So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate." Genesis 3:2-6

This is how satan works to corrupt people's character and to push them away from the presence of God. Be careful with those who try to convince to do what they have in mind. You better walk away from them. Remember when lucifer fell from Heaven, he brought along with him the third part of the angels.  Do you think he wants to perish in the fire of hell by himself? Definitely not.

Take care of your spiritual life and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that there's upon you. Fight for it, otherwise you lose it.

To be holy means to be separated exclusively to God.

Don't be a fearful person
"For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes.” Job 3:25, 26

Dear assistant,
I honestly don't have much to say about what is written in these two verses because it's very clear. Whatever you fear is going to happen to you. Perhaps this has been a reality in your life, and you ask several questions to yourself, Why this and that has happened to me if I'm serving God? You find no answer and because of that you have seen your spiritual life going down the hill.

Bishop, what should I do in this case? Cast out all type of fear that you've been carrying inside you. Fear of making decisions, fear of saying what you should have already said, fear of going against what's wrong in your life and fix what should have already been fixed, fear of believing in yourself. Otherwise, this fear will bring weakness, depression, doubts, sadness and as time goes by you will find yourself far away from the fire of the Holy Spirit. If it happens, then it'll be needless to say that you are going to fall.

I hope to help you out with this message. Share this message with a friend and fear not.

God and the shadow
Dear assistant,
What is the reason have we seen many people claiming that they believe in God and serve Him with all their hearts and strength; They say that they have surrendered their whole life in His hands and He is everything for them, but yet whenever we look at their lives we are able to see everything and the only thing we do not see is exactly the fulfillment of what God has promised in His word. The question is, Why? Has God changed what's written? Has He changed His mind? Is He old? I know that you answer is NO! So, what is the reason there are so many people claiming one thing and showing another thing completely different from what they say?
See what the prophet Isaiah said, "For the LORD of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?” Isaiah 14:27

This verse shows very clear that the problem is not with God because it's more than clear that He is ready to act and bless all those who believe and call to Him. However, many times He has been prevented from acting or manifesting His power because people simply refuse to do their part, many of them, including those who are serving Him, have made the big mistake of thinking that everything they need to do is to pray and then everything is going to change because of their prayers. I'm not saying you should not pray, but if what you want from Him depended on your prayers only, don't you think you should have already conquered it? How many prayers have you already prayed for this case in your life? Have you seen those results yet? If your answer is NO, then it's clear that for you to change your situation or conquer what you've been dreaming of, you have to act.

God is like our shadow, if you move He moves, but if you insist in keeping quiet thinking that only your prayers are enough for you to accomplish your goals, I'm sorry, to be frank, it'll never happen.
There's no one else who wants to bless you more than God wants, but unfortunately if you don't do your part He won't be able to fulfill His promises in your life.
Can your shadow move while you are stuck? I honestly don't think so.

And the LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Exodus 14:15, 16
Don't let the sun go down today without doing what you've got to do!
 Take actions and be blessed.

Doing Your Best

"Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men."
 Proverbs 22:29

Dear all,
God doesn't do things anyhow whatever He does is perfect and it comes in the right time.
The Men and women He had chose in the past did their best in everything, which is why they have their names written in the Word of God. They made the difference because they excelled in everything they put their hands to do.
God has chosen us to serve Him today and there's no doubt that He expects the best from each one of us. It doesn't matter where you are nor what God wants from you, if you were chosen by Him, then you have to excel in what you are doing. Unfortunately, not all of those who are doing the work of God have this conscience because they are more concerned in pleasing man than the One who has called them. I hope that this is not your case.

Those who are born of God and filled with the Holy Spirit are more than capable of excelling in everything that they do because the Spirit that dwells in them is the Spirit of the Almighty. The only thing that can prevent them from excelling in whatever they do is their lack of interest in pleasing God, or if they are living in sin, otherwise they can make the difference.
God wants you to stand before kings and show that He is with you for His name to be glorified. People recognize that He is The Lord. But if we neglect and despise the simple things that we are given to do, how can He honor us and place us among the best ones? It'll never happen.

Therefore, whatever God has set for you to do, make sure you excel in it, without worrying about who is looking at you or what they are saying about you. Don't make the mistake by thinking that what you do in the Work of God is for man. If this is how you think, I'm sorry assistant, you are in the wrong place. If you only do your best when the pastor or bishop is around you, I feel sorry for you because you are deceiving yourself and going nowhere.
Let's do our best in every single thing that we do, either cleaning up the church, evangelizing, counseling people, taking care of disciples, etc...  Whatever we do is for the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Thinking Like God Does

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet," Psalms 8:3-6
I hope you understand what you have just read. Everything that our God made is unmeasurable and goes much beyond what our imagination can bear. However, he made us just a little lower than the angels, and what does that mean? It means that we are big, much bigger than we think. The problem of many of us is the way we think, which is very small. If you think small, then you are small, what you do is small, what you conquer is small, people look at you as a small person and you make God very small too. Therefore, if you want to conquer what is big and become big to glorify Him, then you have to stop thinking small and begin to think like God does.  Think big, otherwise you will prevent Him from doing great things in your life.
Don't forget, God made you just a little lower than the angels. Will knowing that mean anything to you or will you continue to think small?

Obey and Live

“Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I teach you to observe, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers is giving you. You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:1, 2
Dear friend,
One big mistake made by many Christians, including those who serve God, is to think or believe that everything that they need to do to possess God's Greatness in their lives is just to pray. I am not saying that we should not, but this is not all. Reading chapter 4 of the book of Deuteronomy, we see how strongly Moses commands the people of Israel to obey the statutes and the judgments of The Lord. Why he did that? Why does God require our obedience to his Word?
The secret of a blessed life with God depends on obeying His voice. How can God walk or deal with someone who refuses to follow His voice and practice what is written? It is Impossible.
The people of Israel had just left Egypt where they had lived as slave for over 400 years, where they  didn't have anything but obligations. They used to work day and night. They were born and grew up as slave, and after 430 years by using Moses, God set them free from hell and gave to them the promised land, a land that flows with milk and honey. How could they administer that land, if they didn't have anything in life before? That's why God had to establish statutes and judgments and once they obey Him, it would be possible to make them successful in that land.

With us this should not be different. We also came out of a slavery life, because our "Egypt" was when we were being slaves to lying, addictions, prostitution, sickness and many other problems that never allowed us to enjoy a blessed life. God set us free from all this and brought us into the promised land, which is His Kingdom. But for us to be successful and have the assurance of salvation, we have to obey His voice, His word. If you only do what pleases you or whatever comes into your mind, as if you are the owner of truth. Or if you refuse to listen and obey, as there are many among us who no matter how many times we have spoken with them they keep on causing problems after problems. This proves to us   that they are clearly still in Egypt living under satan's control. They are rebellious and disobedient, trouble makers and double minded people. I URGE YOU TO WALK AWAY FROM THEM.

Do What's Right in the Right Time.

Doing what’s right in the right time

“So we departed from Horeb, and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw on the way to the mountains of the Amorites, as the Lord our God had commanded us. Then we came to Kadesh Barnea. And I said to you, ‘You have come to the mountains of the Amorites, which the Lord our God is giving us. Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’ Deuteronomy 1. 19-21

Dear assistant,
One big mistake many people make is to do what is right in the wrong time, because of that they never see their lives moving forward as they should. Of course, when it happens they quickly look for someone to blame. Usually, they turn against God, family member, pastor, assistants and against the whole world. But who should they blame?

There is time to pray and time to take action. Both work when we use them in the right time. Unfortunately most of those who say they believe in God and they are in the faith, they don’t know when they should pray and when they should act. The result of this is the time passes by and they conquer nothing.

Many Christians just believe that everything that they need to do to become victorious in life is to pray. They grew up hearing from their parents that everyday they should. I am not saying that we should not pray everyday, I myself pray every single day, but if I want to take possession of my victory, then I have to take action instead of just pray. Perhaps this has been the main reason in why you haven’t seen any difference in your life yet. You are praying for something that God has already given to you long time ago, but in your mind you think that God has to hear your prayers ten thousand times before He gives you what is yours.

See what’s written, ‘ Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’ Deuteronomy 1. 21

What should they do to possess the land? Just keep on praying or take action?
So you need to know what God is really requiring from you for you not to find yourself doing what is right in the wrong time. Probably, you should have already taken possession of many things that God has already given to you, but you keep insisting on praying.

Let’s do what is right in the right time and you will be successful in everything you do.

How careful have you been with your faith?
"Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, 'The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously'? James 4:1-5

Dear assistant,
Why have I written and have sent this message to you? For the simple fact of keeping you alert in regard your faith. To build a life with God Almighty hasn't been easy because we have to struggle and sacrifice every single day. We do this by denying our own desires and by resisting temptations every second of our lives. If we want to keep on carrying inside us the full assurance of salvation, this is what we all should do daily.

But what has been bothering me is that some of you haven't kept the same fire of the beginning when you were raised as assistant. As time went by, many of you have lost the excitement and pleasure of being in the house of God taking part of what the Holy Spirit has done. You don't participate in things such as night vigils, assistant's meetings, special event, campaigns and many other activities that bless the people, but also will bless our life even more because we are serving Him.

Faith only works when it's put into action, it's like a car that you we have to keep on filling up the tank, otherwise, it won't move even though it can be a brand new and comfortable car.

Friends, let's keep on feeding our faith and growing up our relationship with the Holy Spirit by persevering on doing what we have vowed to do when we were raised as assistant.

The Holiness of the House of God

Dear friends,

It's very common to hear from many people annoying complains saying that they've been coming to church for such a long time, but yet they haven't seen any shadow nor sign of difference in their lives. Sometimes it causes us to wonder if the type of work we have done is  in accordance with the direction of the Holy Spirit or not. The work of our hands has to flourish and bring the results promised in the Bible.

But why haven't we seen many people being transformed as they should? Why is that even though we preach, seek the new birth, it seems that every word that comes out of our mouth is an empty word?

There's an explanation for these questions. Many people come to church, but they don't know that they are coming to the world most holy place, which is the House of God. A place where everyone is supposed to be holy as well, but this isn't what we have seen in majority of those who come to church, because there's no sanctification, respect, consideration, or reverence to the presence of God. Many people enter the church in the same way they enter into a supermarket, or a shopping mall, speaking in a loud voice, talking with someone else on the cellphone, chewing gum, some parents screaming at their children, and the list goes on and on and on.

Do we need more examples to understand why many come to church but yet they have remained as if they have never entered the House of God? I really don't think so.

We need to learn how to come to church and how to behave before the presence of The Lord. If we are not ready to hear, then the man of God can preach, and pray but in the end nothing will change. Therefore, whenever we enter the house of God we should be in spirit of prayer, in preparation to receive the word of God and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

This Saturday, July 19th, 2014, will be the most important day of the history of the Universal Church, because it'll be the day of the inauguration of the TEMPLE OF SOLOMON. Pastors and bishops from around the world will be gathering all together with Bishop Macedo on the biggest Altar of God on earth and it will be the closing of the 40 days of the Fast of Jesus. Without a doubt this will be the greatest opportunity for all those who haven't been born of God and baptized with the Holy Spirit to grab this moment to be transformed once and for all. However, if you come to church this Saturday think that this will be just one more meeting, or just one more prayer that you are being invited to, then I can guarantee you that your life will remain the same.

When you come to church this Saturday, before entering the House of God make sure you turn off your cell phone, avoid useless conversation, try your best to sit close to the Altar, arrive at least 15 minutes before the meeting begins for you to say your prayer and read your Bible in preparation to hear the voice of God.

The same Glory that will fill up the Temple of Solomon in Brazil, will also fill up your soul, and therefore your life will be no longer the same. Think about that!

"Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil." Ecclesiastes 5:1

Faith and Sacrifice

Faith in the word of God alone without practice brings no benefits. That’s the reason why many Christians live a defeated life. They have faith but live as if they do not.

The faith they practice is just in regards to eternal life, but not towards the promises God has  for an abundant life. This is because they fail to realize, God did not limit His promises only to the afterlife. The Lord Jesus in His word said:

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. (John 10:10)
Who is the thief? The devil.
Where did he come to? The world.
Where did the Lord Jesus come to? The world.
What did He come to do ? He came to bring life more abundantly!

This verse shows God’s Holy Will for those who believe in Him, but why are there people who believe in Him and yet do not see results? Simply because their belief has only been theoretical and not practical. Sacrifice is what characterizes a practical faith.

The Lord God said "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse…And try Me now in this, Says the Lord of hosts,
'If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.'" (Mal 3:10) What does this mean?
In these verses God Himself invites us to try His word and see if it will work or not, but first the person needs to try himself to see if he believes in what is written or not, to sacrifice the 10% of everything he receives.

The Christian faith needs to be practiced or exercised in order for it to produce fruits. This practice is sacrifice. The sacrifices the priests made in biblical times where done daily and it characterized the practice of a living faith in the living God.

In today's time, obedience to the word of God should be the same, in order for faith to produce its benefits a person has to sacrifice.
What sacrifice is required? The surrendering of your will to do the will of God.

Anyone willing to obey the word of God must be prepared to sacrifice his or her own self. Either  the person does the will of God or the person does his or her own will, but the two does not walk together. He will be saved if he dies to this world, is born again and lives only to please the Lord. In this case his will is to do the will of God

Sacrifice makes you strong
The true sacrifice really makes all the difference and draws God's attention. It's the shortest distance between the dream and its realization. The true sacrifice gives power over any situation, enemies and whatever may turn against us. A person who sacrifices becomes like God, all things are possible for her. God was the first to sacrifice on the earth, in the Garden of Eden, when He killed an animal to cover Adam and Eve's private parts after they had fell into temptation. He did that to show us what we all should do to solve big problems and to conquer the extraordinary.
I want you to read the story of a woman who used to give just a piece of bread, some food to Elisha, a man of God. But the day she decided to sacrifice, then the extraordinary happened to her. Read and do your best to understand what she did. You too can do the same in this campaign of Israel and conquer the extraordinary. Perhaps, you've been facing a situation that seems impossible to find a solution, or maybe you have already given up on your own dreams, but if you do the extraordinary on the altar, from the the same altar you will reap the extraordinary.
After you finish reading, you can share this story with your friends and let's get ready for the Night Vigil on July 11th at 10pm.

"Now it happened one day that Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she persuaded him to eat some food. So it was, as often as he passed by, he would turn in there to eat some food. And she said to her husband, 'Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly. Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.' And it happened one day that he came there, and he turned in to the upper room and lay down there. Then he said to Gehazi his servant, 'Call this Shunammite woman.' When he had called her, she stood before him. And he said to him, 'Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?'' She answered, 'I dwell among my own people.' So he said, 'What then is to be done for her?' And Gehazi answered, 'Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.' So he said, 'Call her.' When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. Then he said, 'About this time next year you shall embrace a son.' And she said, 'No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!' But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.' II Kings 4:8-17

Doing the extraordinary
    Hello assistants,
We are living in the days of the Challenge of Israel, and without a doubt this will be the greatest opportunity for all of those who have surrendered their lives upon the altar to serve God. We all know that the Challenge of Israel will open the doors to conquer the supernatural. This is the only way in which we as children and servants of God will glorify His Mighty name.

The pleasure of the devil, since the beginning, is to put the children of God into shame. To ridicule them and put them to test before others. The queen of Sheba did that to king Solomon when she came to see him,

"Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, having a very great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart."  II Chronicles 9:1

King Solomon answered all her questions and she couldn't find any mistake in him, instead he put her into shame, but if he had had nothing to say nor to show her, he would have to be quiet.

If you have joined the Campaign of Israel, then make sure you go deeper than you have done in all the other campaigns, do the extraordinary. In the history of the Universal Church this will be the first time that all of us pastors and bishops will gather together in the same place to pray for you, this place is the world's biggest altar, The Temple of Solomon. If you haven't prepared your sacrifice yet, now  is time to do it. If you do the extraordinary, then the type of life you are going to enjoy will be extraordinary as well.

King Solomon showed to the queen of Sheba everything that he had and gave to her much more than she had given him. She was overwhelmed. This is how those who will look at your life after the Campaign have to be, but for this to happen you cannot fear to sacrifice, to put the extraordinary up on the altar because from the altar you will reap the extraordinary.

"Now King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, much more than she had brought to the king. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants." II Chronicles 9:12

Don't accept to be put into shame in this Campaign.

Riches and Honor

"Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel. And the period that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem. So he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place." I Chronicles 29:26-28
This morning I was reading and meditating about these verses and I decided to share it with you. See how important it's to remain faithful, sincere and loyal to God until the end. King David had opportunities to kill Saul many times, but he didn't dare to touch him. Since one day Saul was anointed as king of Israel, David did nothing against him.
He was not a perfect man but had a sincere heart that pleased God. For this reason, he gave him longevity and he died as it's written in good old age, full of days, riches and honors. Is there no doubt that God wants to do the same with those who serve Him today. Unfortunately, there are many who are serving God, but don't have a sincere nor loyal heart before Him. They don't miss any chance of criticizing others, including their own spiritual leaders. King David made several wars against his enemies, but there are servants making war against other servants. At first, they had one type of character but as time went by, they corrupted themselves and corrupted others with their evil ideas and wrong choices. Many of them are not among us anymore.
Dear assistants, make sure you take care of your spiritual life, run away from evil and those who do evil, otherwise the God of David won't be able to do great things in your life as He did to David. As we are in the 40 days of the Fast of Jesus, you should take these days to consecrate your life as much as you can. At the end of this fast the Holy Spirit will come upon you, make you be born of God, baptize you with the power to remain in His presence until the end, because many had started to serve God but they had fallen along the way.
This Friday there will be a night vigil, the Night of the White Garments, I see this as a great opportunity for those who really want to be fully committed to God and His work, and go all the way until they die or until The Lord Jesus comes back.
If in case you haven't prepared your white clothes, then you should do it before Friday. Cut a piece of the oldest clothes that you have and write on it every bad things that satan has been using to accuse you before God and bring it to the night vigil. Let's remove what is evil so that what's good can find room to enter your life. Then there's no doubt that you will make the difference in every areas of your life, financial, spiritual, sentimental, material. Like David who died in a good age, rich and honored by God.

7º Dia da Quarentena do Jejum de Jesus

7º Dia da Quarentena do Jejum de Jesus
Sacrifice in the Offering
Supernatural faith requires the attitude of sacrifice because of its spiritual nature. Isn’t it what happens with emotional faith that rejects any kind of sacrifice because its human nature is selfish? If the topic is supernatural faith, so the actions also have to be supernatural.
Abraham, Jephthah, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are some extraordinary examples of faith. The quality of their sacrificial offerings, showed the quality of faith that pleases God.

Besides meaning total dependency of the faithful to the Most High, it is also the most convincing – to the eyes of evil - to prove that the giver decided to devote his life to God one hundred percent.
Through a sacrifice you can see the life of the one sacrificing. If the sacrifice is imperfect as was Cain’s, it means that trust in God is also not complete. Cain offered a sacrificial offering, but it lacked the most important element of sacrifice, which is blood.

The life of the offering is seen through the blood. It is a sign of partnership with God. When lacking it the offering has no representation. In other words there is no representative for the life of the one offering. Hence Cain's sacrifice was not accepted.

We are not referring literally to blood, but the attitudes of sacrifice in relation to true faith. They are like prayers, praises, songs and offerings dedicated to God in the usual way, but without spirit.

June 20th at 10pm we will have the night vigil of the white garments

You Are Not Alone

Without a doubt, the worse thing is to be put into shame before other people. Sometimes it’s better to disappear by moving to a faraway place and to be seen by no one, than to suffer the humiliation of being ashamed because of what went wrong in our lives. This was what happened to David after he fell into temptation and committed adultery with one of his most loyal men’s wife, Uriah. Satan promptly manifested bringing all types of accusation against him before the God of Abraham, and it’s needless to mention how bad and miserable David became before the whole congregation of Israel. But because of God’s unmeasurable mercy and compassion, David had a second chance, as God does to all those who sincerely  repent on their mistakes. By purifying himself from whatever evil that there was inside his heart, David was no longer the same. He said, 'To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

 "O my God, in you I trust;
 let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
 Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous" Psalm 25. 1-3

Dear assistant,
In this night vigil, you will be washed from everything that has been putting you into shame. How many times you have to be quiet before your own family simply because you have failed in your sentimental life? Or due to a financial situation you were not able to provide what your children expected from you? The devil many times has used your failures, doubts and fear to put you down, made you feel miserable, and hopeless as if there’s no more chance for you, but in God there’s always YES. If there’s yes, then there’s a way out for each and any type of problem you may be going through right now. Lift up your head because you are not alone.
Prepare your white clothes, fast and consecrate your life before the Holy Spirit.

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me" Philippians 4

Hello Assistants,
We all know that this verse is well known among many Christians, including those who serve God, but unfortunately the reality of most of those who know it is completely different from what it should be because the type of life that they’ve been living does not reflect what is written in the Bible. Maybe you’ve wondered why Christians who supposedly believe in a great God yet they haven’t accomplished the fulfillment of God’s promises. Here’s one of the reasons this has happened to many people. Since the devil has been cast out of heaven he has opposed everything that belongs to God, most specifically the human being and the realization of his dreams.

Everything satan doesn’t want is to see the name of the Lord Jesus being exalted and glorified. Therefore, whatever we do in order to please God, satan tries to oppose, like he did with Joshua, 'Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him’ Zechariah 3.1

On the Night Vigil we all will have the best opportunity ever to purify our lives and do what we have been struggling or have failed to do because satan has accused us and has been opposing us too. The white garments will symbolize God’s purity in our lives, it’ll be the confirmation that He has already taken all filthiness away from you and me. As it’s written "And the angel said to those who were standing before him, 'Remove the filthy garments from him.' And to him he said, 'Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments'" Zechariah 3. 4,5 Then, we will be able to say, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me"

Make sure you are ready for the night vigil. Opportunities like this doesn’t happen all the time. I’ll be sending a video to all of you with more messages about it.

Don't Be Deceived

Dear assistant,
We are facing an everlasting battle against evil forces until we die or until the Lord Jesus comes back. There’s no rest. Many have lost their battles simply because they’ve been deceived by the devil.  He convinced them that they have done  enough and now they don’t need to fight as they used to do in the beginning of their faith. What a big mistake they are making!
Let’s understand why we all should keep fighting in order for us to maintain our salvation and keep the fire of faith burning. This is what the Bible says, "Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world" Revelation 12. 7-9

This is the reason in why we, who serve God, need to keep ourselves in a constant fight against the devil. Don’t give yourself any rest, otherwise sooner or later you will be convinced that you don’t have to do more than you have done.
On June 20th at 10pm New York time, there will be a Night Vigil for all those who want to be totally free from accusation of the devil. Those who want to be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

I abandoned the faith and this is what happened...

At the age of 18 I, who was a member of the UCKG from an early age, decided I no longer wanted to be part of the Church. I wanted to live a different, more exciting life like my friends.

I thought my worldly friends’ lives were more interesting than mine because I was always in Church, and this really overwhelmed me. I began going out to nightclubs, drinking and smoking with my friends. I hardly had time to for schoolwork because I was going out on weekdays too. As a result, I failed that school year.

Often, I would come home late and drunk, always arguing with my mother, who was already a member of the Church.

Once I finished school, I didn’t even think about going to college and becoming a professional; instead, I occupied my free time by drinking all day long.

Though my mother was seeing me self-destruct, she did not give up and made the decision to continue praying for my complete transformation.

Her sacrifice was not in vain.

I finally understood that the void, which had taken over my life, could only be filled by the presence of God, and not with worldly friendships, drinking or parties.

I began staying home on the weekends and spending more time with my mother. I went back to Church and began participating more in the Youth Group. After 10 months, I became a completely changed person. I stopped drinking, changed my behavior, majored in drama and, most importantly, had an Encounter with God.

Born of God and the Supernatural Faith

The supernatural faith is not a gift or a power given to anyone but for all those born of God, why? Because when we are born of God or born of the Holy Spirit, we automatically bring inside us the pure and genuine essence of God's Nature. This nature is supernatural and is above all things. Therefore, all those who are born of God have authority to do what they want and to conquer what they desire because there's no limit. There is no obstacle that can prevent him from accomplishing what he wants.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
See the clear definition of faith. It does not leave any shadow of doubt. A person who has it knows that this is the power of the living God inside of him and with this power nothing is able to stop him.
Assistants, you should look inside of youselves and see what type of faith you have. If it's the supernatural one then, it's time to manifest it to change any situation you've been going through and at this time you'll be used by God to set people free from the power of darkness. If you are born of God, you can do great things. Let's go ahead with this faith.

    Just One Prophecy
Whenever there's faith and sacrifice, then God's prophecy will definitely be fulfilled in your life. See the case of Simon Peter who had worked hard the whole night trying to catch some fish to sell and cover his needs. On that night he caught nothing at all even though he knew how to catch fish. Perhaps, this is your situation today, you've been working hard day and night, waking up very early and going to bad very late, but at the end of the day what have you got? Nothing! How can you change this situation? You need just one prophecy.
Simon Peter said to them,'I am going fishing.' They said to him, 'We are going with you also.' They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. And He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.' So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish." John 21:3, 6
The Lord Jesus told them to do one thing, there was only one prophecy, they believed it and did exactly as He told them to do, and the result was far beyond their expectation.
This is what we do believe is going to happen in the life of all those who are ready to depend on God by sacrificing their all up on the altar, without hesitating. May 11th can become the day in which you will possess what you've been struggling for years and years without accomplish it. Everything depends on you.          If you truly believe in the prophecy and in God's prophets. Then, sacrifice, do what you have never done before and conquer what you've never conquered in your entire life.
On May 11th., don't come by yourself, bring someone who is suffering with you.
