God or Man?

Chosen by God or by man?
“Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen these.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!””
 I Samuel   16:10-12

Many have behaved themselves like the seven sons that Jesse introduced to prophet Samuel, worried about themselves, seeking for a title and a position, concerned about their outlook and own well-being giving a clear proof that were chosen not by God, but by man.
He who is chosen by God knows that his blessing comes in the right time. He does not depend on what others say about him, he does not care about position nor what is given for him to do.

He knows that God is with him and wherever he goes he grows up because he has the full assurance that the God who chose him will honor him, like David who was taken from the sheepfold to be in a palace, just because he was chosen by God.

“Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel. 2 Samuel 7.8.”

The chosen

God Almighty is the Only Lord; Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. In His eternal condition as LORD, only He has authority to choose His servants.
Of course, the criteria He uses to choose only applies to those who are righteousor, at least, want to live in righteousness.
Then the Lord said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.” Genesis 7.1
Among a generation that was morally and spiritually corrupt, the LORD found a righteous man: Noah.
Those chosen are the righteous or, at least, those who meet the necessary conditions to be justified. How many live in the sin they hate? And how many long to live in integrity and righteousness, but aren’t able to roundup enough strength to turn away from sin?
Sin will not leave you in peace. It is impossible to live in sin and be at peace. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Peace.
How can you be chosen to serve God, when you are still a slave of sin?
If you find yourself in this condition, yet hunger and thirst for righteousness, the LORD chooses you and gives you faith that will justify you to serve Him. Matthew 5.6
Noah was chosen because he was a righteous man. However, his entire generation was in complete chaos. Spiritual and moral corruption multiplied without any hope of improvement. Noah and his family were the only humans chosen to enter the ark of salvation. The animals of each species were also separated. It is important to note the fact that Noah did not have to choose the animals, hunt them or bring them to the ark. God Himself chose them and sent them, two by two, to the ark. All the others died along with the rest of mankind.
In my opinion, the Holy Spirit continues to “cherish” and choose people who hate sin; people who want to turn away from sin but haven’t been successful; people who are, blindly, searching for salvation in religions.
Mount Sinai separated the righteous from the wicked, those who yearned for justice from those who enjoyed unrighteousness…

The offering or the Altar?

…which is greater, the gold or the Temple that sanctifies the gold?
[…]
…which is greater, the gift or the Altar that sanctifies the gift?
Matthew 23.17-19
Apparently, the choice between the gold and the Sanctuary or the offering and the Altar is simple and obvious; however, it reflects the choice between eternal life and eternal death.
These questions require a true and sincere answer. Whether you like it or not, they unveil all the secrets of the human soul, Christian or not.
Any decision about any matter in this world, directly or indirectly, has to do with the questions asked by the Lord Jesus, because they have to do with the principles of eternal life or death.
There is no hiding the answers when the Spirit of God asks. Who can keep the intentions and goals of the heart hidden when the Spirit of God asks? The truth is that what man considers greatest and most important in his life becomes his greatest goal.
Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the Altar partake of the offerings of the Altar? I Corinthians 9.13
It’s useless to pretend or hide any bad intentions from the Almighty. When you opt for the gold and the offering, you disregard the Sanctuary and the Altar.
The wise man sacrifices gold and offerings on the Altar as a way of protecting himself from the corruption the love for them causes. Serving the Altar gives him the right to receive provisions, just like those who serve the LORD receive benefits from the Lord.
The Sanctuary sanctifies gold like the Altar sanctifies the offering. The Sanctuary and the Altar would not have the authority to sanctify if they did not represent the Eternal God Himself.
To consider the gold and offerings to be more important in Christianity, at the very least, is living proof of standing against the Most High.
The Sanctuary symbolizes the dwelling place of God, and the Altar symbolizes the Seat of His Throne. The gold objects of the Sanctuary, as a whole, symbolize the process of redemption of a sinner, just like the offering symbolizes the dedication of the offering giver on the Altar.
The Sanctuary, the gold of the Sanctuary, the Altar and the offering are holy because they belong to the Lord. If the Altar is the Holy of Holies, imagine the Sanctuary that shelters Him along with the other sacred elements!
Therefore, when asking what was more important: the gold or the Sanctuary that sanctifies the gold, the offering or the Altar that sanctifies the offering, the LORD makes it clear that the gold and offering are only valuable because the Sanctuary and the Altar sanctify them. This is, they make them spiritual and sacred. Otherwise, they are simply metal material and, therefore, without any value to the Spirit of God.
Those who are of the flesh do not understand spiritual values, because,
the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. I Corinthians 2.14

Authority

What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet. Psalms 8.4-6
When God created man, He gave him ALL His authority and dominion OVER ALL THINGS. Since man was His masterpiece, God wanted him to enjoy these things and have nothing disturb his peace.
Of course, under this authority, the devil and his demons would also have to submit to man. However, this authority was and is linked to UNCONDITIONAL OBEDIENCE to the Word of God. This was the price man had to pay: be obedient to the Voice of the Almighty, without questioning His laws.
The devil knew this, he knew that as long as there was obedience, man would dominate and not be dominated. The problem was not in Eve eating the fruit, but that she was disobedient to the Voice of God. They were giving the devil what they had. Since then, mankind has been enslaved by evil and suffered the consequences of having Satan as their master.
The coming of the Lord Jesus did not only bring hope and Salvation, but He also came to recover this authority, which had been lost. He took back the key the devil had stolen in paradise.
It is interesting that Jesus also taught this to His disciples, because when He called them, He said to them, “Heal the sick, cast out demons…”. What else would this be, but AUTHORITY?
We can see throughout His ministry that Jesus taught His followers to use Authority. He calmed the sea, commanded the wind to be still and said, “Why are you so fearful? How is it you have no faith?” Then he walked on water and told Peter to do the same. He spoke to a fig tree and it withered away, and He told His disciples they could do much more than that. He multiplied the loaves of bread and fish and said, “You give them something to eat”.
In all of these supernatural events, Jesus motivated His disciples to do the same, to show them that His Authority, which had been given to mankind since the beginning of creation, was being restored to man. And before ascending to Heaven, He said,

ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH. Matthew 28.18
And He passed this authority to all of us when He said:
But you shall receive power (AUTHORITY) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… Acts 1.8
Those who receive the Holy Spirit have the AUTHORITY to dethrone the devil from anywhere that he may be reining. We cannot turn a blind eye from this, we have to raise our hands, tie up and remove the devil, so that any situation can change.
The decision is ours: either we use our authority over the devil and overcome, or submit to the authority he stole in Eden. Which do you prefer?

You are Gold

Using the Authority

 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”  And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. Mark 10. 49-50       Many times it is not understood the reason of not living a life of success and victories that is written in the word of God though we believe in the promises of God. Many do not exercise their faith and authority as they did in the past.

 Why has faith not worked in the life of many Christians and principally in the life of many who have served God? Has God changed? Is His word no longer the same? God is the same and His words have not changed. What has really changed is the way people have lived their lives in this world.

They stopped to obey what is written. As a matter of fact, many have been contaminated with filth of this world, grudges, doubts, evil thoughts and many other things that have prevented those who serve God from acting their faith and use the authority that one day they received from God through the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

For this reason, many are down and on the brink of the abyss. When the Lord Jesus sent someone to bring the blind man to Him, the first thing he did was to throw that old and dirty garment away, he stood up and acted his faith. To throw the garment away means,  to remove the doubts, fears, worries, impurities of soul and heart, and thus be able to act with  faith, authority and take possession of the greatness of God.

  You have the authority of God inside of you, do not allow it to be neutralized by the snares of the devil.

O corpo do servo do Senhor Jesus é o templo do Espírito Santo. Para que tatuá-lo? Qual o seu benefício? (I Coríntios 6.19)

Remaining on the Altar

      Remaining on the Altar

      "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”. Psalm 91.1

     We have seen in recent days the devil and his demons have devastated and wiped out hundreds and thousands of lives throughout the world,  from different nationality, culture, race and color. He has taken possession of their lives without them presenting any kind of resistance. By the way, how can they resist hell without having been in the Kingdom of God?

     The fact that many people attend one denomination or have a religion is not enough for them to resist the evil that has risen against them daily. If these people do not have their lives 100% on the Altar of God, certainly they will be devoured by evil. The same applies to those who have served God but at the same time have lived a life of bitterness, sadness and defeats.

     Many have faced the same problems, and suffering like those who do not have their lives on the altar have faced daily. Why has it affected those who have been serving God as if they were serving the devil? Why are there so many failures in the lives of those who should be saving souls only through their testimonies? The answer to these questions are not difficult. This has happened because they stopped living by faith in God, they relaxed in communion with the Holy Spirit, they no longer have the fire of first love, and they have lost the desire to win souls.

     Many who lived within the discipline, today are indiscipline, disobedient, and want to serve God in their own way doing what pleases them. when they are wrong, they don’t accept to be corrected, these are the ones that the devil will destroy, because they have lost communion with God, and are an easy prey to evil. They are with their lives vulnerable and far from the Altar. If this is your situation, then you have to take an attitude and change it, for thus says the Lord Jesus,

     "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place-unless you repent." Revelation 2.5

     What is your choice?

Putting priorities to the side

Everything in life has its level of importance. It is important to be financially stable, because it is important that your testimony be a reference of God’s greatness. It is important that you take good care of your health because it is impossible to do what needs to be done when you are physically debilitated.

It is important to have a structured family, since the foundation for a good relationship with others stems from your relationship with your family.  For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. Matthew 6.32
There are other things that are also very important in the life of a servant of God, but, unfortunately, what has happened is that the most important thing has been placed equal or below all these things.

Would you like to know when a servant of God is entering the danger zone? Would you like to know when a servant of God is not spiritually well? Would you like to know when he is far from God?  When this servant is not prioritizing his Soul. When taking care of his own Soul is no longer his priority. When other things, that do not involve taking care of his Soul, occupy first place within this servant.
When you do not prioritize your Soul, automatically, you will not take care of others. You will not be concerned with winning the Souls of other people for the Kingdom of God. Let’s take a look at the verse that follows the previous verse: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6.33

Many, who were once by our side in the meetings for those who serve, are no longer among us today. Many, who went out with us to the streets and alleys, looking for the afflicted, now find themselves walking down a bitter road, waiting for someone to come and rescue them. Let’s take all this as an alert to keep our eyes on the Altar, which sanctifies everything that is placed on it. Let’s not waste time worrying about material things, which will only be blessed if they are on the Altar.

Wise woman

Every wise woman is of God, since her wisdom comes from the LORD OF WISDOM.
And every wise woman builds the foundation of her house upon the Word of God.
But, the foolish pulls it down with her hands. Proverbs 14.1
The wise woman is like the wise man that built his house on the rock.
She is wise because she knows that building a house depends on the foundation, base or structure, which are able to support the entire weight of the building. Therefore, she is more worried with foundation, than the aesthetics.
But the foolish woman is like the foolish man, who seeks quick results. For this reason, he builds his house on the sand. Matthew 7.24
The wise woman is wise because of her wise actions;
She is wise because she does not act according to her heart;
She is wise because she knows her heart is deceitful;
therefore, it cannot be trusted at all;
She is wise because she thinks, evaluates, meditates, calculates and uses an intelligence based on the Word of God, which makes her smart enough to know not to walk according to the impulses of the deceitful heart. Her wisdom prevents her from making hasty decisions;
She is wise because she believes in the Word, which does not fail;
She believes because she trusts and hopes in the Spirit of the Word of God;
She is wise because she knows the vision is yet for an appointed time, which has been determined by God. She is not deceived; if it delays, she will wait, because it will certainly come and not be late. Habakkuk 2.3

Mulher sabia

Mateus 7.24
A mulher sábia é sábia por conta de suas atitudes sábias;
É sábia porque não age de acordo com o coração;
É sábia porque sabe que seu coração é enganador;
E, por conta disso não se pode confiar de jeito nenhum;
É sábia porque pensa, pesa, medita, faz as contas, enfim, usa a inteligência segundo a Palavra de Deus, o que a torna esperta a ponto de não andar segundo os impulsos do coração enganador. Sua sabedoria bloqueia decisões precipitadas;
É sábia porque crê na Palavra que não pode falhar;
Crê porque confia e espera no Espírito da Palavra de Deus;
É sábia porque sabe que a visão é ainda para o tempo determinado por Deus, mas se apressa para o fim, e não enganará; se tardar, espera, porque certamente virá, não tardará. Habacuque 2.3

Make it your story

An Arab legend once said that two friends went traveling through the desert, at some point during the journey, very tired, one attacked the other. The victim, without saying any word, picked up his staff and wrote in the sand:  "Today my best friend knocked me down." After a while, they went on travelling through the wilderness, until they reach an oasis ( small lake).

There, they were taking a bath, until the friend who had been beaten, began to drown. The other swam to him and brought him to shore safe and sound. That's when his friend whom was rescued took his clay and wrote on a rock, surrounded by vegetation, "Today my best friend saved my life." The first asked, "why when you were beaten, you wrote your feelings on the sand, and when you were saved wrote on the stone stone"? The other replied, smiling:. "When a good friend offends us, we must record this damage in the sand so that when the wind of forgetfulness and forgiveness comes  they are  erased by it.

 But when a friend does something great, we should record this moment on a  stone and keep it in our  memory and heart, where no wind can erase it.

 Real friends do not need to talk forever. They do not need to ever visit. Our true friends are those who rejoice at our victories and  are the first to show solidarity in our misfortune.

Be an authority

        Be an authority

       Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather[a] rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10.19-20

When you become a child of God, you become a prince or princess of God. You receive the same authority Adam had, the same authority Noah had, the same authority Abraham had and the same authority Jesus has. You become an ambassador of Jesus, an authority of God here on earth.

       Now you can understand why we are bold to challenge all evil. When you become a prince of God here on earth, those small problems that seem huge in your eyes become nothing. God’s authority is with you, not just in the church, but everywhere you go. When you receive this authority from God, you no longer bow before problems, however serious they are. You’ll face even death, for you know who you belong to and who you are.

A person who receives the Holy Spirit stops being religious. They stop labelling themselves as spiritist, Catholic, or evangelical. They have nothing to do with religion, they have everything to do with the Lord. They stop depending on other people or luck. You are the one who controls your destiny, through your relationship with God.

       The choice is yours: do you want to just solve your problem or become a blessing yourself? If you solve a problem today, another will come along tomorrow. But those who have authority crush their problems day after day, for the rest of their lives.

Choose to be a blessing. Have the Holy Spirit and become an authority of God on earth.  Our Daily Bread – Bishop Macedo

Being honored by God

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. John 12:26

When a person truly serves God, they take pleasure in what they do. No matter where they are or what has been given to them to be done. They  know that it is not enough just to say that  they are  servants, much less wear a uniform, above all they  keep their word, and  the vow that was made to the Most High God to serve Him throughout their lives.

However, there are many who start well and were giving their best, but as the time went by they changed their focus. They failed to serve God and begun to serve and to please the man or themselves. To these the Lord Jesus says,

'Bondservants, be obedient to Those Who are your masters According to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, to the Christ; not with eyeservice, the men-pleasers, but the bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, the to the Lord, and not to men, Knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, Whether he is a slave or free. Ephesians 6.5-8

When the Lord Jesus promised to honor someone, He was very clear when he said, "one who serves me, follows me …there are two fundamental conditions. Serve, or do the work of God, helping the needy, evangelizing, caring for people, coaching, healing, preaching the gospel. And following me, that's exactly to obey his word, it is to manifest his character before the people and give good testimonies especially to outsiders.

It is useless to do a lot, but still having a bad character. living in lies, falsehood and deceiving people. those who proceed in this way are those who are serving themselves and not God, they are those who are more worried  with the title they have and the position they occupy. These are exactly the ones that cause divisions, gossip and sow strife among the servants, pastors and even among members of the Church. They will never be honored, on the contrary, sooner or later will be put into shame by the devil.

But those who serve God and continue to live a life according to the Scriptures, these certainly at the right time, will be honored

Do not despise the sacred

Perfumes has always been used by women as a means of attraction, to draw the attention and admiration of men, especially when it comes to sensuality and to exercise its power of seduction.

It was before the Lord Jesus Christ that one of these women came and  poured all her valuable perfume.

A woman came to him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His Head as He sat at the table.(Matthew 26:7).

She knew in her heart that, this  Man could  not simply be seduced by the pleasant smell of just any perfume , even if it was purchased during the course of a year. She knew that It needed something more to attract the admiration of the One who would be the liberator of her soul.

At that time, it was quite complicated for a woman to approach a man, but Mary approached the Lord Jesus Christ in a way reprehensible in the eyes of others, and the Lord Jesus approved her courage and determination in seeking to draw his attention.

Jesus saw what was inside of her and expressed his satisfaction saying; "Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her  ." (Matthew 26:13)

Many have shed their offerings, and they  have called attention of men, they have approached before the altar with their proposals.
How has been your approach to God? How have you given your offerings to God?
Mary poured out her life. She gave her  everything. she gave What she was, and what she would be  from that day forward. She did not despise the Sacred.

Be very careful!! Do not despise the Sacred

The sword of Peter

Peter was one of the main disciples of Jesus. He had the faith and courage to abandon his fishing nets and join the school of fishing for souls. I don’t know who or what led him to later acquire a sword to continue onto the school of faith.
I don’t think that, at first, he exchanged the nets for a sword. I do believe that, as the days passed, realizing that the LORD and the other disciples were “unprotected” from evildoers, Peter acceded to the idea of adding to the protection of the LORD a physical weapon of defense.
This is the same situation many find themselves today. They believe in the provision of the Word, but in some way, want to have their trust crutched on something palpable…
It is important to note the fact that the Lord did not disapprove. He did this to teach the other disciples. That weapon split Peter’s faith in two parts: one part of his faith was in Jesus and the other part was on the sword.
Many who put their hand to the plow, have also done the same: they believe their subsistence will come from the Altar, but they also want to guarantee their future with material goods.
Peter’s sword was not a sin, but it became a trap for his faith. He showed the devil that his faith was divided and, consequently, his spiritual weakness. Proof of this is when he advised Jesus not to go up to Jerusalem; when he refused to accept that he would deny the Lord; and finally, when he denied knowing Him three times before the rooster’s crow.
Faith is yes, yes; no, no. Either you trust or you do not trust. Peter trusted, yet he still had his doubts… Fortunately, that Peter died and rose again with the resurrection of the Lord, becoming a great apostle. But he didn’t need to carry the memory of that rooster’s crow for the rest of his life.
The story goes that whenever Peter heard a rooster crow, he would run to a corner and cry.

Watch and pray

   When the Lord Jesus warned  his disciples that they should watch, it was because, better than anyone, he clearly knew that if they did not watch and if the Lord Jesus didn't  keep a surveillance on the disciples, they would inevitably fall into temptations, it means, they would enter a field that is dominated by the forces of hell, that this would only lead to the  destruction of their lives. How does a person enter into temptation?

This happens through what the person sees, hears, thinks or feels.

The devil knows very well how to use these senses to deceive the human being, the more intelligent, mature and spiritual the person is, if there is not a constant surveillance on one’ self, ( watching one's self) sooner or later this person will fall.

First the devil awakes the desire for something that draws the attention of the person and at the same time it can be something the person is curious to see, hear or touch it, because the human being is very curious by nature and want to know everything.
Many misleadingly find themselves reliant and self-confident and therefore, believe that nothing bad will happen to them it does not matter if It's a video on the Internet, if it's a picture that at first does not seem too outrageous, hence comes the desire to see more and often times. When this happens, the person has already entered the field of temptation. The tendency now is the desire to go deeper and it only increases and when the person wants to return because they are too far away they rarely get out of this temptation field, as is already under the dominion of evil forces.

The only way to avoid entering these temptations is to do exactly as the Lord Jesus guides us. Watch and pray.

When we watch we are using intelligent faith, the reasoning, the own domain and when we pray we are putting our faith into action, When we obey this determination of the Lord Jesus, there is no way to enter into temptation, although the flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong and being strong, you have authority over any kind of temptation.

Many servants including pastors, assistants and even bishops have fallen because they despised the good conscience that is fueled by the fear of God.

When we despise fear, we despise salvation. If the person has a problem, he or she should ask for help, instead of trying to solve the problem by themselves.                                                    All those who have fallen considered themselves self-sufficient and thought they   could solve their difficulties alone.

Remember to "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26.41

Faith without grace

“I live by the grace of God and not by the works of the Law; Jesus has already sacrificed for me, so I don’t have to sacrifice.”
These and many other arguments have been widely used by most believers.
But I ask: if faith does not need to be accompanied by sacrifice, does this give man the right to live in the flesh since the grace of God does not require sacrifice? Is it right to keep sins hidden for years?
The truth is that those who preach “Grace” have no idea what it actually means. They deceivingly teach that grace is like an unlimited prepaid card that Jesus has already paid for us. So we can accept Him and then spend the credits on this card forever. When a person sins, he should just ask for forgiveness, because he has an infinite amount of credits with God. If he commits the same sin tomorrow, he just uses the credits again. There is no need for repentance, or change of direction. You should just rely on good intentions, remorse and a ton of apologies: “the flesh is weak”, “I can’t resist”, “it’s stronger than me”…
Because of this deceit, many people have gone to hell believing they had a guaranteed place in Heaven. Just like true faith has nothing to do with religion, true grace has nothing to do with the lack of sacrifice. On the contrary, grace gives man a responsibility he did not have before. If he was bound to sin before, now he no longer has that excuse. He has received freedom and the right to Salvation.
Now, man is responsible for remaining on the Path of Salvation and, therefore, the rules of grace are very clear: those who want to come to Jesus, must deny themselves, take up their cross and follow Him. Three levels of sacrifice. The Lord Jesus gives us His grace, this is, His favor, which is a present we do not deserve, as something so precious that a man would sell everything he has to buy it. It is worth the sacrifice of remaining obedient, it is worth the sacrifice of denying our will, it is worth the sacrifice of forgiving those who trespass against us, it is worth the sacrifice of leaving our old life behind us, it is worth the sacrifice of separating ourselves from certain people, things and convictions. It is worth all the sacrifice that true grace demands.

Win souls or edify yourself

Win souls or edify yourself.
“Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”   (I Corinthians   14:1-4)

Dear all,
We have seen in most of those who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit a great concern to speak in tongue, which is of course, is very important because you are edifying your spiritual life and glorifying God. But, how many people are you helping when you speak in tongue? None, but yourself only.
Paul stated clearly that he who prophecies exhorts the church. Prophecy is to talk, preach, teach, evangelize, correct and above all is to lead people to salvation. This proves that he who is baptized in the Holy Spirit  first priority to save souls and help others, instead of thinking about edifying his own life. This is the main characteristic of a person baptized in the Holy Spirit. To win souls!

Faith vs Doubt

Faith vs Doubt   Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. (Joshua 6. 1-2)

   Knowing the fame and faith of Joshua and the Children of Israel, seeing their victories God had already given to them, satan sent someone to spread doubts among the people of God that the City of Jericho was securely shut up. In other words, it is impossible to enter that place.

  God prepared Joshua to resist and to overcome any obstacle, when He spoke to him saying, ‘Be strong and of good courage’…  Satan knows that the only weapon that can neutralize our faith is doubt, but it’s up to us to accept it or to rebuke it right away.

  God has already given to us whatever we need to live an abundant, comfortable and quality life. For you to take possession of this blessing, first you have to break the walls of doubts and fears that were built in your mind.

 What are you going to do? Break the walls or allow the walls to break you?

Lord of himself

And they said to me, “The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fireNehemiah 1.3
The walls of Jerusalem had a very important function: guarantee the protection of the city. Without them, Jerusalem was at the mercy of the enemy.
The walls represent our faith, because it protects our lives. This is why the devil always tries to destroy it. When we allow our faith to be shaken by adversity and evil’s attacks, we become weak and enslaved by the problem.
Unfortunately, many are fallen because their faith is in ruins. It begins to happen slowly. First, one stone becomes loose, then a gap appears, and shortly after, it turns into a hole. Sins enter stealthily, like pride, indiscipline, immorality, rebellion, among others. They carve large holes in your wall, and little by little, your spiritual life will fall apart.
Due to a lack of remaining vigilant when it comes to safeguarding your faith, the will of the flesh prevails and the devil has access to your life.
Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach”Nehemiah 2.17
Keep in mind that the devil will always use people and situations to take you down, because his greatest desire is to destroy your life. You may even be known as a good Christian, but, deep down, you know that your faith is shaken, just like the walls of Jerusalem.
The first step to revert this situation is to restore the wall, this is, your faith, which will protect your Salvation. Self-assess your life and see what has opened holes in your wall and start to rebuild it.
So I answered them, and said to them, “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.” Nehemiah 2.20
Put God in charge of your life and take care of your faith, because all of your life depends on it. By faith you are justified before God, achieve a blessed life and your Salvation. Therefore, do not become discouraged. Seek to renew your faith every day, rejecting everything that might weaken it.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4.7

Winning souls

The essence of all the work that we do are for souls. And for  those who have passion to win souls, there is no better place to be in the work of God than as an assistant.

Every assistant should be aware that all their work, their commitment to the work of God, must be focused on winning souls. For it is not dedicated for this purpose we will have no used for the Kingdom of God. The purpose of us being saved was for us to save others.

Of course, your biggest concern and you should pay close attention to your own salvation. Only after that can you put all of your strength in the salvation of those who are lost, and warn those who are  standing supposedly in faith, and think they are  standing on the risk of falling spiritually, if they don’t watch over.

What is the salary of a soul winner? What makes a happy soul winner? What pleasure a soul winner has? The answer is simple: to see a person who comes to God totally destroyed, failure, hopeless, broken, rejected, by all and for all and to contemplate its regeneration. This is the wages and the greatest joy of a soul winner.

For this reason, we are promoting August 28 as the first day of the consecration of souls. It will be a day dedicated to those suffered. A day when all the assistant will lead the church to be consecrated souls.

Once the meeting is over, they will visit the nursing homes, hospitals, orphanages, prisoners, and people that are away from God's ways. That day will be the first of many, because every moth we will be separating  the last sunday of the month to accomplish the consecration of souls.

Obedience

Obedience

     When we talk about Obedience, we speak of Abraham, the father of faith, the example of obedience.

“And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭26:4-5‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

     Many assistants have asked to God, many have complained with their  pastors why their lives are not blessed as they would like it to be. They do not see the promises written in the Word of God materialized in their lives. The answer lies in the absence of this quality, which by the way was abundant in the life of Abraham; Obedience.

     This is what it means to be a servant. He was always ready to serve. He could not even agree, do not understand why so much was demand from God, but his obedience was a matter of honor. It doesn't matter if his feelings are hurt, if his knowledge had to be relevant, what matters was to obey.

     To be in the Sanctuary of the church to cast out demons from people, giving out  envelopes for a purpose, cleaning the bathrooms of the church, greeting the people at the door, waiting for everyone to leave the church for you to leave after that. To going to the assistant's meeting, separating moments to evangelization, meditating on God's Word every day, do fasting regularly, following guidance related to moments that God has our participation are some of the things that the man and woman of God, servants of the  Almighty God have to offer, to characterize their obedience.

Very Important

Strength out of weakness

"Then He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness. Gladly therefore more glory in my infirmities, that rest upon me the power of Christ. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong "2 Cor. 12: 9,10

They deluded themselves into becoming the enemies of faith. They thought that distresses and tribulations diminish our confidence in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. On the contrary, in our  weakness we draw strength. So that when we think that we are weak, we are actually strong.

The Holy Spirit is with us in the same way as it was with our father in faith. We know that in times of difficulty, persecution and weakness, God's power is manifested. The force that sustains us is our faith, which in turn is supported through the living God. We do not rely on the strength of our arm, and much less with someone else's arm.

We have God and our faith that connects us to Him. So no matter if we feel weak or if we feel strong. We know in whom we have placed our faith and we are pretty sure that He is powerful and faithful to fulfill His Word.

Besides that, we believe in the promise that any tribulation is momentary, and in the morning comes joy: "At nightfall you can see the tears, but joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30: 5

Servants of God, however your struggles, tribulations and persecutions comes, God is in control of everything. Renew your strength in prayer, daily meditation on the Word of God, and stand firm in faith.

Fear not, God will never forsake you.

God bless.

Investing in your salvation

How to develop your Salvation

But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9. 62

 To serve God is something extremely spiritual. Only those who are truly born of God and baptized in the Holy Spirit are capable of joining the Army of God Almighty. From the moment we put our life on the Altar to serve the Lord Jesus, we automatically start an everlasting battle against hell. This battle will last until we die or until the Lord Jesus comes back. This is a daily war, whether we are at home, at work, at school, wherever we go. Many of those who have served God as assistants, pastors, decided to give up in the midst of the battle and they lost their salvation.

God allows us to face tribulations, persecutions, false accusation not to make us suffer and be destroyed, but for us to be prepared to possess greater things in life. God does not give us anything unless we are prepared for it. He allows us to be taken into the wilderness for us to become mature in faith.  To conquer salvation is a very easy process but to keep it is totally different. That’s why God allows us to go through tribulations because they make us more mature in our communion with God and mature in faith to the point of resisting temptation and whatever evil that comes against us. Unfortunately, there are many assistants who are prepared only for what is good and easy because when problems come they flee proving that they have not been born of God. Otherwise, they would remain until the end.

When the Lord Jesus promised saying, “you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…Act. 1.8
It was exactly to give His servants the power and authority to fight the daily battle and keep their salvation.  If you have not faced battles and tribulations, you should get ready because sooner or later they will come, but if you are born of the Spirit you will surely overcome.  “ For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our[a] faith.” 1 John 5.4

Tested and approved

And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. Genesis 4.3-5
When Cain brought his offering to the Altar, God was not pleased with him or his offering. Why? The truth is that Cain could have done more on the Altar, much more than what he did, and God knew this. He was reproved by God Himself, and he knew that it would reflect in his life. This is why his countenance fell. His work, his future, everything in his life was destined for failure; after all, he displeased the Almighty, the only One that could bless every aspect of his life.
In Abel’s case, God was pleased with him and what he offered on the Altar, because Abel made a real sacrifice. His sacrifice was excellent, it was perfect, and so he left the Altar different than his brother, knowing that his work and his entire future were in the hands of God.
Both, Abel and Abraham, were tested and approved, they overcame. On the other hand, Cain was not accepted.
…To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. Revelation 2.17
