How to overcome Doubt?
Friday, September 23, 2011
Why many people give up on they do? What makes them start something and after some times they lose hope, strength and give up on that thing that one day they believed they would do or would achieve? The answer is simple: They don't believe in themselves. One of the first requirement for any person to succeed is to believe in what he/she does from the moment that there is a fraction of doubt then there'll be no enough courage to go all the way. Therefore, make sure whenever you start something see if you really believe not only in God but also you got to believe in yourself.

One decision
You want a change in some area of your life? Start with a decision. When you make a decision and move forward with it no matter what, it is your faith that you are acting. And that faith acted upon brings about change.
Faith acted upon is not just reading the Bible. It is not just going to the church, raising your hands up in prayer, and sometimes punching the air for good measure. Faith acted upon is the result of intelligent decisions.
I will not buy cigarettes anymore.
I'll cut off this friendship that does not help me at all.
From now on I will no longer practice comfort eating.
I'll invest in my relationship with God and forget about my love life until I am strong spiritually.
I will begin the steps to open my own business before Christmas.
A firm decision is worth a thousand prayers that hit the church ceiling and fall back down to the ground.

No Intimidation!
When a person is filled with the Holy Spirit they have God's authority dwelling in every part of their body they become possessed by God's power 24/7 everywhere they go. They are ready for any type of situation they may face. They never bow down before any enemy no matter what, because they know who is with them and what He has promised to do in their life. Let's see what happened to Peter and John after the healing of a lame man who used to be at the Temple Gate; "Now as they spoke to the people, the priest, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them, being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus the resurrection from the dead." Acts 4.1,2 Peter and John did not accept to be intimidated by those who were against what they were doing. Unfortunately, many people who claim themselves Christians and say they truly believe in God but they are easily intimidated by their problems, by whatever they hear or see. How can bad and evil have more power to influence people than good does? Amazing! Isn't it? But it is true! However, when we are anointed and filled with the Holy Spirit evil finds no room in our life nor can we be frightened by the circumstances around us. No matter what people say or do to destroy you even if the whole world rises against you, you shall not fear them. "When the wicked came against me to eat up me flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell." Psalm 27.2 Therefore, do not be intimidated by anything in this world, unless you don't have the Holy Spirit. If this is your case you shall then seek for Him today.

How thirsty are you?
The Word of God says that the Holy Spirit is our helper, the One who aids us in our weaknesses. Life truly begins when we have the baptism of the Holy Spirit. God is not only with us, but lives inside of us. Power, peace, God’s character and wisdom become an integral part of who we are once we are baptized with His Spirit.
John 3:34 says that God gives the Holy Spirit without measure, meaning that He doesn’t hold back His Spirit but gives it in abundance. Come thirsty for more of Him, on Friday, May 6th at 10pm for another amazing night vigil to seek the Holy Spirit.
For those who took part in the 21 Day Fast for the Holy Spirit, fasting from all kinds of distractions and tuning in more to God, we encourage you to join us again. If you were not yet baptized with the Holy Spirit, this is an opportunity to experience your personal encounter with God. And if you have already been baptized, we also encourage you to come and seek for more.

From Sheepfold to Palace
Many people have been despised and humiliated by their own families and friends they have been treated as if they are nobody in this world, no matter how hard they try to be a better a person, no one acknowledges what they do. This was exactly what happened to David many times. Being the last born of his family, David was not recognized as an important person nor capable of going out to fight against their enemies the only thing David was given to do was to take care of his father's sheep at the sheepfold. A place where no one wanted to work due to the horrible smell. David's other duty was to take food to his brothers at the battle camp. Though David was despised by his father and brothers, God never forsook him and as it is written, "...For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16.7

Life - Eternal Battle
Dear Friend,
Life is a daily war and only the strong that fight until the end are the ones who are capable of winning. Many begin to fight, but with the obstacles that they come across and with the delay in them receiving what they had asked for, they end up losing hope and become defeated. It’s very clear that those who want to overcome have to be prepared to face battles in every aspect.
A big error that many people commit is to think that because they gave their life to God they will no longer face battles. But it is quite the opposite; God is the God of war. “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” (Joshua 5:13, 14). God is searching for men and women who are ready to fight, as you can see, God is not for the lazy ones, many people think that just by making a prayer everything will change and miracles will happen. These people are forever defeated and always embarrass the name of the Lord Jesus.
So if you want to overcome, be prepared to fight as many times as necessary, for this reason you need to be in complete communion with God through the Holy Spirit. He is the one who gives strength for us to persevere until the end.
The meetings on Sunday morning is the most recommended for the people who want to be overcomers, in this meeting we seek the Holy Spirit who is God in us. Once you are filled with the Spirit of God, who can impede your victory? Be intelligent; seek the Spirit that can help you change your life in every aspect.
Sincerely
Bishop Carlos E Da Costa

The Cry Out For Justice
There's no pain that can be compared with the pain caused by injustice, this is humiliating, disgusting, and profoundly evil, where there is injustice there is an evil spirit, it comes directly from hell; but how can one who suffers injustice be freed from it? There is only one way to accomplished deliverance from this type of curse which is by using faith in the name of Jesus. God is justice and he wants to make justice in the life of all those who cry out to him, "What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! Romans 9.14 Without a doubt what God wants to do the most is justice for those who seek him, no matter in which situation you are going through nor who you are if you are suffering any type of injustice then, there is an evil working in your life and by manifesting your faith in the name of Jesus you'll be able to get delivered from it. On January 28th, we'll be all crying out for justice before God and if this is what you are looking for then time has come for you to achieve your victory.

LOVE OR SELFISHNESS
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him…Psalm 91.14”
Why many of those who have sought God’s presence everyday through prayers, fasting and even making vows, giving offerings and paying tithes can’t overcome their problems? What has made them remain in the church for years and years living the same type of life? Has the word of God changed? Has God’s promise lost its valor? Certainly not! As a matter of fact, the majority of those who have come to church has and their heart a unique intention which is to ask and receive something from Him, few are those whose intention is to give and we all know that with God if we don’t give we don’t receive and once we don’t receive how can one’s life change? It’s not enough to give tithe and offerings nor help doing something in the church it’s more than necessary to give all onto His hands, God doesn’t accept 99% of our life He wants 100%, when we really love we give everything without hesitating and this is the secret to enjoy the abundant life promised in the Bible.
Make sure to throw yourself into His hands and he will give you the type of life you most expect to live in this world.
Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6.38
