Investing in your salvation

How to develop your Salvation

But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Luke 9. 62

To serve God is something extremely spiritual. Only those who are truly born of God and baptized in the Holy Spirit are capable of joining the Army of God Almighty. From the moment we put our life on the Altar to serve the Lord Jesus, we automatically start an everlasting battle against hell. This battle will last until we die or until the Lord Jesus comes back. This is a daily war, whether we are at home, at work, at school, wherever we go. Many of those who have served God as assistants, pastors, decided to give up in the midst of the battle and they lost their salvation.

God allows us to face tribulations, persecutions, false accusation not to make us suffer and be destroyed, but for us to be prepared to possess greater things in life. God does not give us anything unless we are prepared for it. He allows us to be taken into the wilderness for us to become mature in faith.  To conquer salvation is a very easy process but to keep it is totally different. That’s why God allows us to go through tribulations because they make us more mature in our communion with God and mature in faith to the point of resisting temptation and whatever evil that comes against us. Unfortunately, there are many assistants who are prepared only for what is good and easy because when problems come they flee proving that they have not been born of God. Otherwise, they would remain until the end.

When the Lord Jesus promised saying, “you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…Act. 1.8
It was exactly to give His servants the power and authority to fight the daily battle and keep their salvation.  If you have not faced battles and tribulations, you should get ready because sooner or later they will come, but if you are born of the Spirit you will surely overcome.  “ For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our[a] faith.” 1 John 5.4
