"Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him." (Mark 5:1-6 NKJV)There was a man in the bible called Judas whose story you know very well. He was a man who used to walk side by side with Jesus, he used to sit and eat with Him and other disciples. He even used to take care of the offering, nevertheless there was a deceiving spirit in his life. He knew that very well he could have humbled himself before The Lord Jesus and begged Him for his deliverance but he didn't. He rather keep that evil inside of him though he had Jesus with him everyday. Do you know what happened to him? He killed himself, though he had the best chance to change his life. He just needed to take one attitude for it.
Dear friend, if there's something in your life that you need to change you must go ahead and do it without delay. Do like the Gadarene when he saw Jesus he ran to Him immediately and broke free from everything that was separating him from the abundant life. He wanted to serve The Lord Jesus with the best. Just one attitude is needed.
May the Holy Spirit strengthen us and have mercy on us.
Be blessed.
