The Donkey and The Angel

Dear friend,
"Then the Angel of the Lord stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side. And when the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord, she pushed herself against the wall and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck her again. Then the Angel of the Lord went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left. And when the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam’s anger was aroused, and he struck the donkey with his staff. Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, 'What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?' And Balaam said to the donkey, 'Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!' So the donkey said to Balaam, 'Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?' And he said, 'No.' Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face. And the Angel of the Lord said to him, 'Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me. The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, surely I would also have killed you by now, and let her live.”' Numbers 22:24-33
How can this be? The donkey saw the Angel of The Lord and Balaam the prophet didn't? Very interesting, isn't it? Very well, many times God wants to speak to us and show to us His will. He shows us what He really wants us to, do but sometimes we are so full of ourselves. We are so busy with many things and worried about our own problems and things around us that we are not able to hear His voice nor see what He has prepared for us. Because of that we end up delaying the manifestation of His glory in our life, we see the time passing by and we never accomplish our goals. It is necessary to be sensitive in order for you to hear His voice and to see what He wants to do in your life. How many times God speaks to us through a message preached on the altar but we make light of it and ignore that message? How many times we say, this word is not for me but for someone else? And then what happens? We postpone our blessings and prevent God's plans from being materialized in our life. There's no doubts at all that He wants to do great things in your life, I am 100% sure of that. If you are not able to hear His voice when He speaks to you, then He won't be able to bless you and put you on top as He has promised.
Let me tell you something that I do believe will help you, whenever you want to say something important with an important person what do you do? You take him to a private place where there's no one around, isn't it? There you feel free to say whatever you want. That's what you need to do with God, you need to separate yourself from everything and everyone. Go to a place where you can have moments of intimacy with God, where there's no one around, no music, no people passing by, no cellphone ringing, no television, nothing disturbing you. Then you will be able to talk with Him and He will reveal Himself to you. Let's do it right now? Go ahead and be abundantly blessed in Jesus name.
