How Can God Count On Us?

"Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished. Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses." Deuteronomy 34:7, 9
When God called Joshua to replace Moses and continue everything that Moses had begun in Egypt, He knew exactly what He was doing and why He had raised Joshua. It was for the important mission which he had to lead the people of Israel into the Promised Land. As He had promised to Abraham when He said, "Then the Lord said to him, 'This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’" Deuteronomy 34:4. Joshua knew what God wanted from him. He  was responsible with everything that God trusted in his hands. The whole congregation of Israel used to listen to him and respect him. No one dared to raise their voice and rebel against him because he always complied with his duties. He didn't need anybody to stand behind him saying, "you have to do this or that" because he was responsible and knew how to put himself in his own place. Joshua never complained saying, "why should do this? Why do I have to carry this people on my shoulder?" He was always ready to fight and to conquer more day after day. Joshua was obedient because he was a servant. For these and many other reasons God chose Joshua to accomplish His dream. “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel." Joshua 1:2
Dear friend, God is looking for another Joshua today for Him to keep on blessing His people. There are many of them perishing in the desert of this world. It's been hard for Him to find another Joshua because most of those who claim themselves as servants of God are more concerned about serving themselves. Which benefit they are going to reap. They are proud, arrogant, disrespectful, gossipers, ready to do their personal will than God's will, lovers of money, and disobedient. How can God count on someone like this? Impossible! That's why it's been hard to see today the wonders that we have found in the Bible.

To carry a title in the church doesn't mean anything, unless we are ready to listen and obey His commandment. Do what pleases Him without worrying about our own life. As long as we are serving Him whatever we need He will provide. "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor." John 12:26
Do you really trust and believe that He is going to provide what you need? So, obey Him.
Share this message with a friend and be blessed.
