"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
When we are filled with the Spirit of God, then we are strong in every aspects of our life. This strength is not related to our physical body but the spiritual one. In other words, a person baptized with the Holy Spirit has the full assurance that wherever she goes God is with her. Knowing this she fears absolutely nothing. She is always self-confident, keeping her head up all the time despite of any circumstances she might be going through. Whenever she faces problems she is quite sure that in the right time her victory will be materialized. She never lose hope nor doubt about what God has promised to do in her life because He is right inside her. Being anointed with the Spirit of God she knows how to use the right words in the right time. She is able to make correct decisions that brings benefit upon her and all those who surrounds her. Though she may face hard time and big problems she never confess defeat. Nor let out of her mouth negative words that can weaken her faith or neutralize the power of God from being manifested in her life. She doesn't accept to bow down before her enemies, problems, demons whatever because it's written, “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways." Deuteronomy 28:7
I do believe that you have already understood clearly that without being baptized with the Spirit of God, it's impossible to overcome the many problems and tribulations that this world has brought against us. To be quite frank, there are many including those who are serving God who have been defeated by their personal problems, and this has been proved by their constant sadness, weakness, lack of desire to fighting against the devil. Some of them have been struggling with the same type of problems for years and years without seeing any positive result. It seems that their problems are bigger and more powerful than the God that they believe.
If one day you were chosen by God and anointed with His Spirit, then you have to move forward and make the difference. There's no excuse. By the way, when we hear someone always complaining, blaming others or bringing excuses, then this is a clear sign that there's no Holy Spirit in her life. Otherwise she would never waste her precious time by saying senseless things. Instead, she would be manifesting the power of God and proving that He really is with her.
Now take your own conclusion. Do you have the Holy Spirit or not? If your answer is yes, then it's time to overcome.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound" Isaiah 61:1
