Walk before Me and be blameless

Walk before Me and be blameless. Genesis 17.1
God’s concept of perfection is different from man’s concept of perfection.
In the eyes of the world, a perfect person is someone that does not make mistakes. And who doesn’t make mistakes? Which hero of faith did not make mistakes, even though God used them? There weren’t any. Why would God demand perfection from someone who is naturally imperfect? Would He demand the impossible from His creations? Of course not! Therefore, what kind of perfection does He demand?
The fact is, when you walk in His presence it’s as though you are walking in the Light. It is impossible not to see the dangers and avoid them.
It is impossible not to see our own mistakes and not correct ourselves. It is impossible to walk with Him and be a liar, sinful, corrupt, adulterous, deceitful, malicious, scheming; this is, it is impossible to walk with Him and practice unrighteousness. Everyone has their own personality so, for this reason, they are inclined to make mistakes, or may even do something they didn’t want to do.
Even the apostle Paul confessed:
For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7.15-23
To be perfect for God is to be righteous in the way we are and act.
God bless you all.
