Where to look?

The answer to our failures, to why the Almighty God does not manifest Himself like He promised and desires, is simple, it’s as clear as day.
God said:
Look to Abraham and Sarah… Isaiah 51.2
Ask yourself: “Who and where am I looking?”
Lot, Abraham’s nephew, walked with Abraham and saw him express his faith in God many times, such as when he raised an Altar and offered sacrifices, yet Lot was unable to walk by faith, unable to practice the faith that requires PROOF.
Lot failed. His life was completely opposite Abraham and Sarah’s life because he only saw what was happening at that moment, the momentary advantages. He only saw what his physical eyes could see and what his natural eyes could behold. I repeat: HE WAS UNABLE TO WALK BY FAITH, TO PRACTICE THE FAITH THAT REQUIRES PROOF.
We understand that the same happens today. The fact that we know what happened to Abraham and Sarah, that we are in Church, that we are part of the Christian family, does not mean that we will experience what Abraham and Sarah experienced. To look to Abraham and Sarah is to imitate them, to mirror the practice of their faith, to accept the call to PROVE.
Abraham and Sarah did not deny God anything, they trusted Him, made a commitment, surrendered their future to HIM, obeyed in all things, so God fulfilled everything that He planned and promised them.
To conclude, those who find themselves hopeless, tired, discouraged, feeling old, wanting to die, thinking that their days have come to an end without seeing the promise being fulfilled, I leave you with this passage for you to meditate:
Abraham,
…who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. Romans 4.18-21
Do not become weak in faith, do not let the spirit of unbelief take control, do not doubt, do not let difficult circumstances prevent you from practicing the faith that requires PROOF!
