All of us know that faith is the power of God manifested inside those who are born of God. However, not all of those who have faith are able to make the difference in this world. Why not? Only because they are still depending on others to do when in order for it to be done depend on themselves.
When we read about how the heroes of faith became heroes and what they did after that, we can see that they never depended on anybody; Even in situations that humanly speaking would require the help of more people but yet they acted by their own faith without waiting for anybody. They knew what wanted to do and where they wanted to reach. That's enough! But unfortunately, this is not what we have seen among those who are serving God, many of them are insisting on counting on someone else, receiving a second opinion, wavering between two thoughts and other things of the sort. As a matter of fact, attitudes like this just weaken their faith and delays not only their victories but the work of God as well.
Once you do believe that what you are about to do is right, is going to bless those who are in need of help and will glorify the name of The Lord Jesus, you should not wait or depend on something else, go ahead and do it.
Who did David take with him to go and kill Goliath? Who else climbed Mount Moriah to carry Isaac besides Abraham? How about Moses, did anybody else touch the waters of the Red Sea? Was there another woman with Rahab when she invited the spies to stay at her house? Was there another brother with Joseph when he was sold to the Egyptians? Which disciple decided to be crucified with The Lord Jesus? Actually, all of them ran away and left Him alone. Therefore, if you truly believe that God is with you and has anointed you with the Holy Spirit, who should you wait for you to stand up and put your faith into action? What else do you need for you to go out and save souls, evangelize, visit the sick, make phone calls or do any other thing that can help the growth of the Work of God?
If we only do what we are told to do, then we clearly prove how useless servants we are.
Let's go ahead and do what we were raised for. Save souls!
On April 19th all of us can make a tremendous difference in the life of many women who are desperately in need of help, and I'm sure you know many of them who probably have already shared their problem with you, or they live with you. It can be your sister, mother, daughter, school mate, co-worker, neighbor or somebody in the streets. Though I do believe that pastor in your church will make plans to evangelize, but you have your faith and know what people need. Go extra miles.
How many women have you already set up in mind to bring on this special meeting?
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony." Hebrews 11:1, 2
